put some springing in your spring. Let's get a restart.

This just in! It's that time again! Time to prepare for warmer weather and days at the lake and night by the grill chasing lightening bugs!  But before all that wonderful summer sunshine and good times let's get down to business. Winter was long and cold, wet and dirty. Sand and road salt, dirt and mud everywhere.  It's time to do some airing out and cleaning up and checking our homes for seasonal change.  Call your HVAC guy and have a routine cleaning and check on your system make sure you've changed out any filters and vacuumed out all your vents and cold air returns.  Check your windows and screens, patch or replace any tears in your screen before all the wonderful warm weather bugs start creepy crawling around and become guests inside your home. Turn on your outside water connection and check for drops and fix accordingly. It's also spring rain season and it's time to check for leaky roofs and clean those gutters.  Some of your foundation diet might li...

Don't let criminals know you're a great place to burglarize

Call Zeke today and let him pick up your e waste and packaging today FOR FREE so criminals don't see your trash and plan a robbery of your home or office or apartment.  we've all seen videos if the dastardly porch pirates and cat convertor thieves so we know we have the criminal element always among us and I'm today's atmosphere it appears to be a growing issue so let's not feed the trolls and take care of mother earth at the same time . What concerns solid waste managers is not just the growth in volume and bulkiness of these items – it’s the toxicity of their components. Old TVs can contain up to seven pounds of lead. Besides lead, other contaminants such as mercury, nickel and cadmium can find their way into the water and food supply due to incineration or landfill operations. In 2009, the EPA estimated that up to 75 percent of electronic items are discarded as regular household waste.https://www.epa.gov/recycle/electronics-donation-and-recycling CALL ZEKE NOW  ...

The sound of silence

What do you do when the perfect home comes with a highway that's busier than O'Hare Airport on a Friday commute homeward bound?  You mention it on the Next door Application and my assistant happens upon it and says "Hey. Zeke can fix that. Give him a call!" And she's right. I can fix that. You know one of the best ways to turn that highway noise down so your perfect home stays peaceful is to wrap a privacy fence around your property . Not just any fence will do. You'll need one that's airtight top to bottom with zero gaps to let air or sound through. You'll want it to be as tall as the tallest point if the noise source and you'll want it to continue around your property without gaps  no chain link. no slates of wood. An interlocking top quality vinyl is the way to go.

Painted House

To Help a friend

The first remodel Zeke did after he came home was for a friend. an investment to boot. and he literally knocked it out and it literally was almost an entire rebuild ,in less than a couple weeks. he's amazing!

He dreams. He builds.

The Master suite according to Zeke the Builders dreams of bedrooms and more.... And so forward progress comes quietly along with a winter so cold even heat isn't warm enough. Enter a light garden in the master suite.  well the skelton of one anyways.

terms and contracts

so what happens when you put in the bid inspect the job at hand spend time pricing the supplies and adding to the labor you know you'll be putting in and they say yes you schedule getting started   and what happens if the home owner cancels ? well you cancel...  but what happens when that happens several times this is where having a contract and having terms and conditions of the contract have to come in at some point the client has to be on the hook for wasting people's time money and talent. now doing a bid it's pretty easy to find some terms for and I think we found some good ones for some of the legal paperwork That's just you know standing on your price and the supplies and if someone was to hire a subcontractor and all those types of things but what do you do about scheduling a job and what do you do about when someone cancels on you how many cancellations do you allow before you have to charge a set fee and should you have to pay a prepaid amount down so that...
